Crayon Creature

Some sort of grotesque body form made from art supplies. Art imitates life… life imitates art?

The skeleton is made from clear packaging tape that I wrapped around my body for an accurate shape. Then I adjusted the proportions to the size of a child. Next, I paper mache-d it with comic book strips and covered it in melted crayon and other art supplies such as paint, pom-poms, popsicle sticks, puffy paint, bricks, googley-eyes, and paint brushes. You might also notice some children’s toys attached such as marble eyes, wind up teeth for the mouth, a plastic disguise nose, and dice.

Overall, super fun project.
